The face spa playset comes with Barbie doll, a puppy, a spa station with mask molds, three tubs of Barbie dough and accessories to play out rejuvenating facials again and again. To start, kids can place her pet puppy and Barbie doll in their seats — the salon chair really reclines — then use the included marker to create blemishes on the doll’s face. Three bowls fit on a rotating station and can hold the three different colors of dough included with the playset. Kids select a color, scoop out a small piece, then place into one of two molds; There’s one each for Barbie doll and her puppy for easy repeat play. Remove a mask from the mold and press onto the doll or puppy figure’s face. After a moment, remove the mask, wipe the doll’s face with the towel and the blemishes have disappeared — what a healthy glow! My girls recently recieved the Barbie Face Mask Day Spa playset and loved it! Having Barbie dough to play with and make masks for Barbie and her puppy is what makes this a hit, otherwise it would be just another Barbie playset. My girls had fun making masks for both Barbie and her puppy but we really wish there were more ways to use the Barbie dough in this set. More molds for puppy treats or even Barbie treats would have made this set a little more intriguing but over all it’s still lots of fun. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My daughter was so excited when she received this set. She immediately had her doll ready to go for her own spa day and then invited all of her other dolls to have a spa day as well. This set has truly captured my daughters attention for hours of endless entertainment. The only downfall I would have to say about this is the fact that you do have to pull the play dough from around the mask form. Now, this could be on us and we’re putting too much into the mold. My daughter really loved this face mask spa day set. The doll was awesome and she loved that it was the same color as her skin . She loved being able to use to face masks on the doll and the dough was really easy to take on and off barbie . She loved being able to give her doll a spa day like her mom has once in awhile . She loved being able to have her doll relax and the puppy was a extra that she loved to play while she was doing her barbie molding on the doll .
